Book Review: The Seven Laws of Love by Dave Willis

I thought this book, TheSeven Laws of Love by Dave Willis, would be a marriage book. It does focus a lot on marriage, but it actually talked a lot about love in general as the Bible tells us to do. It talks about loving our children, neighbors, enemies, ourselves… definitely a pretty well-rounded read.

I liked the general message and I liked the Bible stories and scriptures he used to further illustrate his points. It was a generally quick read I think most people could enjoy, even if you aren’t married.

A few of my favorite quotes:
“Love is the only part of life that really counts.”

"...God makes possible the power to bring peace to your past, freedom to your present, and hope for your future."

"There isn't enough room in your heart for both fear and faith, so each day you must decide which one gets to stay."
