Book Review: Conspiracy of Silence

I always feel awful leaving a less-than-stellar book review, especially since I know how incredibly important they are in helping to boost an author’s success.

That said, I never finished reading Conspiracy of Silence.

It sounded pretty awesome. Basically, a centuries-old plague is somehow re-released on the world and it’s a race against the clock to figure it all out.  Sounds great, right?

It probably is, honestly. First, and I know this is unfair, the font in my paperback version was too small for my eyes. It was giving me a headache. I know that's silly, but it's the truth.

Even outside of that, I had trouble getting into it. I tend to be picky about my fiction and just wasn’t getting into this one. When I think about it, I don't really read any military fiction so maybe that's it. I gave it up for a different book twice, thinking maybe coming back to it with a new perspective would help. Alas, it just wasn’t for me.

Have you read Conspiracy of Silence? If so, what did you think? Are you going to be reading the rest of the series?

*I received a free copy of this book from Bethany House in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks so much for your comments! I always read them, don't always have time to answer quickly. Sorry about that!
